Our Motorway Day

What an amazing event – even the drizzly conditions couldn’t put a damper on the buzz during the day.

Billed as “Do you tend to avoid motorways, feel less confident driving on them than you would like, don’t like joining them, or have a general issue, then this free event is for you.” the motorway day was a joint enterprise between us and Northants Police’s Driving School and Safer Roads Team.  The format was a classroom session, followed by a demo drive in a police car, and finally the opportunity to practice in their own vehicle with one of our observers.  The sessions would run every 45 minutes.

In total 77 members of the public took part, benefiting from the classroom session and police demonstration drive.  We were kept very busy with our team doing a further 43 observed motorway drives.
