The Northants Safer Roads Alliance run the very successful CarKraft, for drivers under 30 years old.
This event is always held at the Porche Driving Experience, Silverstone – as they have a kick plate and water based ice hill skid pan. Due to the availability of the centre this year, the CarKrafts were held in September and November.

Drivers get a classroom session, an observed drive with a police advanced driver, a session on the kick plate and ice hill skid pans ,a look around a HGV including inside the cab to see the blind spots and a session with a Highways Officer.

Non-drivers receive a classroom session and their first driving lesson in a real environment, within the internal road network of the Porsche test track, alongside a DSA qualified instructor.

We are very fortunate to be able to have a stand there (we are the only ones!). We were honoured to welcome our Group President Andy Hunt to our stand (left in photo with Steve Groves and Alan Brown).
