Another successful mature driver hints and tips drives

We have held our second mature driver hints and tips drives day on Sunday 25th February, and it was a great success.  Over 20 hints and tips drives were undertaken as a follow on to the Northants Safer Roads Alliance’s Mature Driver Roadshows where delegates were able to book a free hints/tips drive.

These drives are aimed at enabling older drivers to stay driving longer – but safer as well.  Each drive starts off with an eyesight test followed by a drive where our Observers offer hints and tips on how to stay safe while on the road.  Each mature driver gets a written assessment form at the end covering the advice given during the drive.

Many thanks to our Observers who were kepot busy during the day.
