We were recently contacted by Greatest Hits Radio Northamptonshire to make some comments regarding the fact that the RAC had announced that the two weeks after the clocks change they see a rise in traffic collisions.

Steve Groves did a great job discussing the need to check your lights, tyres etc and also be aware of the vulnerable road users like cyclists and pedestrians, as they are not always aware of the need to be seen and can wear darker clothing.

Steve’s sound bites were played on the 7, 8, 9 and 10 AM news bulletins after which they then had clips from the Northants Safer Roads Team.
